How to apply

Step 1: Online Application Form
Applicants only need to complete and submit ONE application form to be considered for the three different types of Academic Scholarships on offer.

Before you apply, you will need to apply to QTAC to receive your reference number. Your QTAC number is the reference number which you receive after you have lodged your QTAC application online. Your QTAC number will begin with a '17' (or a '16' if you are a gap year student who applied through QTAC in 2016).

Please answer ALL questions on the Online Application Form. Once you have completed the form, click the SUBMIT link.  The Online Application Form and all supporting documentation for 2017 Academic Scholarships must be received by The University of Queensland by the due date (31 October 2016).  Late applications will NOT be considered.

Once you have submitted the online form, you will receive an email as part of your application process to confirm that your Online Application Form has been successfully submitted. Please contact the UQ Scholarships Office if you haven’t received your confirmation email within two working days of submitting your application.

Step 2: Supporting Documentation/Evidence

Once you have completed the online application form, you will be required to upload documentation to support the academic, leadership and/or community service achievements that you listed in those sections on your application form. All documentation must be uploaded before your application is considered complete - you must upload documentation prior to submitting your application as documentation cannot be added once you have submitted.

Applications without supporting documentation will not be considered. Hard copies of documents are not required at this stage of the process, however verification of documents (originals) may be requested at any future stage.
