The Franklin ECO-lab is looking for a committed volunteer to assist with maintenance and feeding of amphibians at the St Lucia University facility. The timing and dates are flexible, but we tend to aim for approximately 2-3 hours per week, preferably in one block.

Volunteers can expect to gain skills and experience in the following areas:

1. Amphibian handling and maintenance (training will be provided).

2. Gain an understanding of amphibian physiology and how environmental process affect their immunity.

3. Potentially gain an understanding of quarantine protocols

 

Priority will be given to those who are willing to work a few months instead of one month. No prior experience is required so if you are interested please contact Kathleen Doody via email:
